Most of our free themes come with built-in Homepage Slider. If you use such theme and find a difficulties configuring the Slider here are all of the necessary steps:
- Install and Activate a theme by us 🙂
- Login to your Admin Panel (i.e. https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/)
- Navigate to Left Menu -> Settings -> Reading
then select ‘A static page (select below)’, select pages for ‘Homepage’ and ‘Posts page’ and click on ‘Save Changes’ button - Navigate to Left Menu -> Appearance -> Customize -> ‘Slider’ Section, Check the ‘Display Slider’ checkbox, add Slider images and text into ‘Slide # Content’, then save changes by clicking on ‘Publish’ button
That’s all. The slider will be displayed into your website homepage.

I love your tPortfolio Theme, which I’m using for my website.
Recently, I noticed that the slider is not working on my homepage. My homepage reading/display settings is set to “Your latest posts” instead of “A static page”. I want to keep the current setting (i.e. display latest posts) and show the slider on the latest post homepage.
Could you please help add a slider to the “Latest Posts Default Homepage”?

Thanks for choosing a theme by us 🙂
It seems you use the free theme version (‘fPortfolio’ instead of ‘tPortfolio’). It does Not support displaying of Slider into recent posts page. It’s a restriction by WordPress.org rules which we need to follow in order our themes to be listed there.

Yes, I can confirm in Premium Theme you can display the slider on the Recent posts page as well.
